"This sculpture is a supplement to Water&’s endorsement of Senate Bill 914, first introduced by Senator Tammy Duckworth. The structure is formed with raw materials including real dead flowers. The dichotomy of dead and alive shows the flow of changes for the sake of Water and, by extension, people. Layered with the hand prints of minorities who are directly affected by this bill, Water& applauds this imperative tide shift. We ask the audience to submerge themselves into the piece, and reflect on what this means for humanity."
